Slippery Falls Scout Ranch - Twilight Activities

Many opportunities are available for unit activities in the evening hours between vespers and taps. Some activities have been scheduled by camp staff, and are open to all Scouts and leaders. Other activities may be done on a troop basis and can be scheduled by the unit leader through the appropriate area director. Units may want to see the less tame areas of camp. If this is the case, you may want to hike one of the Nature Trails.

The Aquatics Area will sponsor free nights of boating, blobbing and swimming. These free nights are available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Scouts that do not enroll in regular aquatics sessions will have the opportunity during these times to participate in waterfront activities.

You may also participate in other twilight activities such as mountain biking, open shoot, climbing and rappelling and contests such as: swamped canoe race, volleyball competition, Scoutmaster belly flop contest, and the Inter-Troop Campfires.

Please remember that personal bikes are not allowed in camp unless you are participating in mountain biking. Signups for mountain biking are done at camp the day of the trail ride. The camp will provide bikes for the scouts and leaders participating in Mountain Biking.
