Welcome to Kerr Scout Ranch at Slippery Falls, the premier Boy Scout camp of the Last Frontier Council. Located on the pristine spring-fed Pennington Creek, Slippery Falls is near the town of Tishomingo in the heart of the Chickasaw Nation of south-central Oklahoma.
Campsites are open for reservation for all troops. To reserve a campsite for summer 2014, complete the Campsite Reservation Form (681 kB Adobe Acrobat .pdf) and submit it to the Last Frontier Council office.
The campsite availability form is updated monthly: 2014 Camp Reservations (15 kB Adobe Acrobat .pdf)
Slippery Falls uses an online registration system for merit badges and programs. Units up to date on payments may register for merit badges beginning March 1, 2014. Access the site here.
Download a map of the main part of camp to prepare for your explorations!
We have also produced a detailed topographic map for orienteering and detailed explorations. It is 11" x 17" but you can scale it down and print it on smaller paper.
With over $4.2 million in donations and over $2 million in completed improvements, Slippery Falls continues to improve service to Scouts and volunteers. The Last Frontier Council volunteer board decided to re-dedicate the camp with a name change this summer. View the video and the story behind the name change. Construction has begun on four new buildings in the center part of camp to replace the old dining hall, kitchen, program office, trading post and health lodge.
