Each summer, the Last Frontier Council employees over 75 youth and adults as members of the Slippery Falls staff. In addition to several weekend meetings in the spring, the staff work for a full week prior to camp opening to make sure campers have a top-quality summer camp experience.
Adult volunteers may serve as camp commissioners for one or more weeks during the summer. Camp commissioners make sure that each unit has a successful camp experience. Regular visits with unit leaders and Scouts make sure that camp is an enjoyable and friendly place. Commissioners help solve problems by working with other staff members and are critical to the success of Kerr Scout Ranch at Slippery Falls. To volunteer as a camp commissioner, please fill out the following form and contact Mike McGlone, the Camp Commissioner Coordinator.
